Dominic Amayun

Dominic Amayun is an accomplished academic, development practitioner, and entrepreneur with extensive expertise in economics, public administration, and tourism management. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Economics, Master in Public Administration, and Doctor of Public Administration from the University of St. Louis. He further expanded his academic foundation at the University of the Philippines, completing a Graduate Diploma in Tourism Development and Management as well as a Master of Science in Tourism Development and Management. He is currently pursuing a Juris Doctor degree, reflecting his continued commitment to advancing his knowledge in law and governance.

In 2012, Dominic established CSI Philippines, where he continues to serve as Managing Director. Under his leadership, CSI has grown into a trusted institution recognized for its programs and international partnerships. His professional journey prior to founding CSI includes extensive experience in both education and government service. He served as School Administrator of AMA College Batangas for three years, Graduate School Professor at Lyceum of the Philippines University for one year, and Graduate School Professor at the University of St. Louis for three years. In the public sector, he worked as Project Development Officer at the Provincial Planning and Development Office of Cagayan and as Public Employment Service Office Manager of Cagayan, where he was actively engaged in local development and public service initiatives.

Dominic is also a licensed professional, holding two Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) licenses and two civil service eligibilities. He has completed specialized training in Human Resource Management, Tourism and Hospitality Management, Operations and Production Management, Digital Marketing, Oenology, and Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL), among others, reflecting his versatility and commitment to lifelong learning.

A passionate traveler and advocate of cultural exchange, Dominic has visited 78 countries worldwide, highlighted by a remarkable 101-day journey across Europe. In the Philippines, he has explored 76 provinces, gaining firsthand insight into the diverse communities, cultures, and industries that shape the nation. These global and local experiences continue to inspire his leadership at CSI Philippines, driving the organization’s vision to bridge education, tourism, and development for both students and institutions.
