Steps in Applying for Australian Tourist Visa ONLINE
Philippine Passport Holders residing outside Australia can now apply for a Visitor e600 Visa online. The following are the steps in applying for an Australian Tourist Visa online:
1. Make sure to create and log-in using your ImmiAccount. You can create your account HERE. Make sure to provide correct information to all required fields.
2. Once you have created your ImmiAccount, check your email from noreply@border.gov.au and verify by clicking the provided link. You have to do this to validate and activate your newly created ImmiAccount. Log-on with your account using your nominated username and password.
3. Answer truthfully all questions that follow. There are 18 pages here. On page 2, you will be asked to give details of your travel to Australia. You may provide your date of arrival and departure and reason/s why you visit Australia.
a. Page 3 is about your passport details and some other information. The last question is about Health Examination. Has this applicant undertaken a health examination for an Australian visa in the last 12 months? It may imply that you need health certification. If you answer Yes, you are required to give details in the box provided. If you answer No, you proceed to next page.
b. Page 4 is Critical Data Confirmation. You can correct wrong entries should you have provided an incorrect one. If no correction, click Yes and proceed to next page.
c. Page 7 is contact details of applicant.
d. Page 10 is period of your stay. Here, you can indicate if it’s single entry or multiple entry. You will need to provide details.
e. Page 12 is your Employment Records.
f. Page 13 is your Financial Capacity.
g. Page 17 is Character Declaration. Answer “No” to all entries. If “Yes” to some questions, provide details.
h. Page 18 is Declarations. Answer “Yes” to all questions. A “No” answer to any question is not a good one.
4. You will need to attach scanned copy/ies of required documents as listed in the prompt page including but not limited to: passport (biopage), travel history (immigration stamps in your passport and other visa/s), bank statement, evidence of employment, evidence of other assets and NSO birth certificate. If you don’t have those documents at the moment, you may attach them later on, at least within the next 30 days. All provided data are stored in your ImmiAccount. However, you can still proceed to pay and attach the documents after payment.
5. Pay 135AUD using a debit/credit card in the window prompt provided.
6. Wait for updates/result of your application in your ImmiAccount and email.
Note that you can upload maximum of 60 documents per application. Incomplete documents will be processed longer. Your Case Officer may ask for other documents as maybe needed. Processing time varies.

As of July 2014
In 2013, I applied for Australian Tourist Visa and was denied one. At that time, I already have a 10-year multiple entry US Visa and have visited at least 15 countries in the past 2 years including South Korea, Taiwan and China. I think I have submitted all requirements including a personal bank certificate from BDO with an amount enough for me to live in Australia for 6 months with a spending capacity of 100USD per day, a travel insurance from Blue Cross, business papers and related documents, and other documents of some properties. Despite those, I was denied of a visa. Surprisingly, based on the letter I received, the case officer has noted that: I have never been outside the country. A shocking result of evaluation for me. So I immediately emailed the case officer about the matter and attached scanned pages of my passport. To my surprise, I was told that they can only open my case if I have to pay anew. Meaning, I have to apply again and pay another 6,400.00 for a wrong decision given to me! I declined a second application then and went instead to Nepal.
This year, since I really wanted to see Australia and New Zealand, I applied again, and this time around, they gave me a multiple entry visa for 3 months. The Embassy gives, 3, 6 or 12 months visa based on one’s request.
Many say that getting a visa approved is based on the completeness and correctness of the documents submitted. I agree to some extent. However, another factor, beyond the applicant’s control, which actually determines if a visa will be granted or denied, is the mood of the visa officer making the evaluation. We can not deny that they are also human beings, and in some (rare) occasions, they make unfavorable decisions. I do not claim that I should have been issued a visa in 2013; what I claim is that, the decision to my application made by the case officer is not for me. He made a wrong remarks when he said that I have never been outside the Philippines.
Having both the experience of being denied and granted a visa still doesn’t make me a visa expert or anything close to that. I am just recounting my experience without any intention to put harm to anyone.
REQUIREMENTS WHEN APPLYING FOR AN AUSTRALIAN TOURIST VISA (no sponsor)
- Properly filled up Application Form 1419 (subclass 600) – make sure it’s the latest form as they always update it. Ensure also that a valid and existing email address is indicated.
- Visa Fee of 130 Australian Dollars (because application is made in Manila/outside Australia) – this must be in the form of Manager’s Cheque payable to “Australian Embassy Manila” and must be in Philippine currency (check exchange rate with the bank or call the Visa Center first prior to buying the MC). Credit card payment is also accepted. There is a page in the Application Form for electronic payment. Note however that there is additional surcharge for electronic payment.
- Photo copy of all passport pages with immigration stamps, visa from other countries and the bio page. Also, the passport must be valid for travel. Attached photo copies of previous passport if available. Have it notarized. DO NOT SEND ORIGINAL PASSPORT.
- ID picture. The right size. Just tell it’s for Australia Visa and the Photo Center would know it already.
- Original NSO Birth Certificate
- If applicant has served in the military, certified military service records or discharge papers.
- Financial documents such as Bank Certificate enough to cover all expenses while on holidays. As to how much, no idea. I was denied a visa when I presented almost a million peso but was granted when I presented a little over 200,000.00 pesos. Include also photo copies of credit cards, if available.
- Work documents – if employed, documents such as certificate of employment, leave form, certificate of compensation/salary, BIR (also include SSS/GSIS certificate of contributions though not needed), company ID and other government issued IDs. If employer/professional, business papers such as DTI/SEC, Mayor’s Permit, BIR and other related documents
- Itinerary while in Australia which includes hotel, tour activities and related information. Do not include confirmed air ticket. It’s not required.

Visa processing time varies but normally it takes 15 working days. Either granted or not, the Australian embassy will send an email notification about it. Any document submitted to the embassy will not be returned. If a visa is granted, they will issue a Visa Grant Notice. If denied, they will issue a letter explaining such.
The Australian Embassy does not provide visa sticker, only a Visa Grant Notice (similar to Dubai Visa).

Good evening! One of the “required” documents to be submitted online is an EMPLOYMENT CONTRACT. I have a certificate of employment stating my annual salary, position, leave approval, etc., but I don’t have an employment contract. Did anybody here encounter any problems with non-submission of an employment contract?
And I don’t see an “attach document” option for other documents like plane tickets and other documents to prove that you plan to come back to your country of origin. Is there another page to attach “recommended” documents?

Hi Mel, I decided not to apply online as this employment contract is one of the requirement. I instead applied via VFS, with the same set of documents minus a contract. Glad to say I received the visa grant notice 4 days after submitting my documents. Processing time may be faster because it’s not my first time to apply.

Hi Trish, nilagay ko lang lahat ng documents ko sa brown envelope. Iyung staff sa VFS na ang bahala. Sila pa nga ang mag-aayos ng documents mo according sa checklist, kung hindi mo pa nagawa, which is I guess part of their service since you’re paying them a service fee. Good luck! 😊

Hello po. Pwede po ba ako mag follow-up ng visa sa mismong australian embassy? I submitted all my papers last march 4 then nag new passport number update ako last march 28.. I have wedding invitation from my sister her wedding is on april 24 po but til now wala pang result ung visa ko.. Pag nag fofollow-up po ksi ako sa VFS thru online lang nila tinitignan hndi nila finofollow-up sa embassy.. Knkbhan po kasi ako bka ma overlook nila ung date.. 🙂

Not nessecarily. Pwede din po and Pwede ding Hindi.. it’s up to you. Malakas Na identification ang passport and they will check din naman yun. So sis no need po. Gastos lang. I got ng visa grant lahat march 2. If You have facebook You can add me and I will show You my submitted documents and none of it is notarized except sa invitation letter ang statutory declaration ko from my sponsor sa australia. At first ganyan din ako. Tapos ung agent ko mahalig sabi niya ang passport is a passport. They will check din naman yan.. so no need po.

God is sooooo good nagsubmit ako sa vfs global as walk in last feb 19 natanggap ng embassy nung feb 22 just after one week i got my VISA granted today leap year feb 29.. my hands were shaking habang binabasa ko hahahhaha im so thankful sa mga nag share ng infos dito laking tulong talaga

question po about online application:
First time ko mag travel overseas so ung passport of course is empty, but dun sa online application meron dun part sa attach documents na “Evidence of Travel history” tapos meron say red na exclamation mark and note na “required” tas ang option po nun eh (or type of doc) either entry/exit of stampe pages of current or old passport. so wala akong ma upload dun kasi wala pa naman ako history of travel but i was able to provide all other ncessary documents, will that affect my online application? do i need to submit /scan my blank passport? may red exclamation mark kasi sya so di ko alam if in process na ung application or waiting na ma upload ung part na un? thank you in advance po.

I’ve got my visa approved last March 2, 2016 and only took me 3 weeks. Yes dear I think malaking factor Ung may passport stamps ang passport ko. Kasi magtataka sila bakit Australia kaagad any first exit mo. Perk Kung sponsored ka naman and malakas ties mo dito Philippines I think OK Lang naman ata? Yes dear just send them a scan passport Kahit walang stamps try mo Lang. Pero I am telling you now. Agad isa ang travel experience Sa factors Para OK visa mo and stand mo dito Philippines..

Hi sorry to burst your bubble. I have a friend who applied for a tourist visa with her bf as her sponsor but was denied. In the embassy’s letter, she can’t be sponsored by the bf since she is not family. She either has to be his wife or be in a de facto relationship with him for her to be able to get sponsored by the australian bf. ShE then applied again after a month or two and was approved since she declared no sponsor.

hi i think that if you applied for a tourist visa sponsored family stream then indeed your sponsor should be a relative. but it Visitors visa tourist stream, it means visiting as a tourist BUT also says there to visit family/friends. db pwede consider na rin na ung bf mo is your friend who will be supporting all your travel expenses…kc ask din nman dun if you have family or friends to visit. and will ask about your relationship to them. it will be asked to support that also to provide evidence of invitation…just a thought, kc parang minsan kc me malabo, i maybe wrong so feel free to comment back para makatulong din sa case ko. thank you

Hi Jon, usually if lodge thru online or vfs it takes 30 to 40 days(included the weekend)….in your case dapat merun na….try to follow up your agency…baka nman late nila na lodge or hnd pa.

Hindi naman kaylangan pa notarized kasi ako kahit isa wla basta present mo yong mga importanti papers,ang mahalaga yong sponsor mga papers niya at dapat isaayos mo mabuti bago mo ipasa mo,yong unang ilalagay mo yong 1419 and then yong sponsor at last na yong sayo na papers para pag nakita na yon hindi magugulohan.kasi saakin ganun ako then after 10days na approve pero 30 in 1days bago na received ko email nila.

Hi Im planning to apply for Tourist Visa to Australia been travelling to Korea, SG, Malaysia , Thailand , Macau and HK pero my problem now is nag resign na kasi ako sa work ko last day ko Jan 29, 2016 pwd ba yung ITR ko na ipasa is from last year at nag freelance na kasi ako ngayon though binigyan nmn ako ng cert nung company sa Feb 1 pa ako actually magstart pero nag part time na ako simula nung December.
Yung BIR ko ba na last year okay lng yun ipasa? or kahit d nalang ako magpasa ng BIR? at tsaka yung COE ko na galing dun sa freelance company ko na nkabase sila sa new zealand at nkalagay dun consultant ako nagsimula dec 4, 2015.
And need ba tlga notarized lahat ng docs or okay lng scan copy sabi kasi ng friend ko na approved sya kahit scan lng.
And yung 100K ba okay lng yun na pera pang support sa sarili ko?

Yes wala akong prinovide na bank account statement kase ng closed account BDO ko sa Western Union kase ngpapadala si bf kaya tinamad mgdeposit kaya ayun na closed.. hehe! Provide ko lng documents like my passport, nbi, ids as my personal info. Supporting documents ko is yung Western Union receipts, call logs and chat namin from the very start… ngprovide ako every month yun kase tumatawag siya lagi so every tawag ni bf lagi kong screen shot lalo na pag skype cam to cam yung yung send ko as our picture together buti na capture ko minsan yung sa meron name nya provided sa screen minsan wala mukha nya lng.. yung conversations namin I wait for sometime bago ko screen shot para mag appear yung date and time.. Updated lahat yun bsta every month meron akong attached na 5 conversations and call logs pili lng din. So medyo marami yung nasubmit ko as proof of relationship from the very start. Separate ko and organized with labels… Skype, facebook, call logs sa cp,and skype cam to cam and yung western union receipts nka organized din madami un kase ngsesend si bf weekly so sinend ko lahat. Bsta neatly organized at madaling intindihin kase nga sobrang dami ang sinubmit ko.. Hindi ako ngpasa ng bank statement dahil may sponsor naman ako.. kaya okay lng.
Sa invitation letter naman simple lng.. gusto ko pumunta ng Australia para attend lng ng bday ng mama nya at ni bf at sight seeing na din at to experience the Australian way of living… ganun lng. Basta need mg match ang letter mo at ng sponsor mo. Ng state kami dun kelan at saan kami ngkakilala which is online… state nya bakit hindi siya nkapunta at nka visit dahil busy sa work.. then naging strong din ata yung application namin kase sa sobrang busy nya mama niya minsan ngpapadala ng pera kaya inexplain nya sa letter un as work constraints and commitments… bsta state nya din sa letter na aakuin nya lahat ng gastos kng nandun na ako kase may work siya at kaya nya ako supportahan, 1 page lng yung letter nya supposed to be 2 page un kase ung font nya kase sobrang liit hehe akin is 2 page humaba lng yun dahil dyan sa attached documents.. etc stated above yan yung 2nd page ng letter ko… and ng state din si bf na uuwi ako ng pinas dahil madaming occasions na babalikan at ako din ng provide ng mga occasions like bdays ng parents ko at other occasions aya ngsubmit din ako ng birth certificate and ids ng family members ko na totoo ung mga occasions tapos letter of support na din sa mama ko parang intent letter din pero nkalagay lng dun is babalik ako ng Pinas dahil dito lahat family ko tapos sign nya.. ako lng gumawa nun pinirmahan nya lng para mag match lng yung letters namin.. Di ko expect na granted visa ko at ang bilis lng 2 weeks kase never pa kami ngkita pero I just provide everything needed.. okay na sobra kesa kulang kase ung friend ko denied twice kahit may work pa siya at ngkita sila ng sponsor nya…ang reason is kulang ng evidence sa relationship nila.. never nghingi ng additional documents diretso denied. ako never kmi ng meet then first time to travel din so minsan walang chance dahil may reason din na refuse dahil hindi kpa nkpagtravel pero thank God granted ako… case to case basis lng siguro at depende sa CO na hahawak sa application. Ilagay mo lahat kng anung meron ka kase yung ginawa ko bahala na sumobra wag lng mgkulang.. depende naman sayo kng anu strategy mo sa pag organize sa papers mo basta sakin nka organized clean and easy to access dahil kng skype, skype lng lahat nka clip attached. kng western union, nka clip din lahat then kng chat logs like sa fb nka clip din individual.. depende din sayo kng anu ipapasa mo bsta kng anu meron sakin pinasa ko lahat like western union from the start to last padala nya. Photocopy lng lahat pati resibo sa Western Union.. Orig na pinasa ko is NBi at Birth Certificate lng. the rest photo copy na from passprt to all supporting documents meron ako. Kay bf photocopy din.. ung iba walang notarized ok lng din! Gumawa din ako letter of intent kase need mo explain bakit gusto mo mg tourist. Need mo ung orig na resibo ng Western sa next apply mo kaya save mo lng yan in the future.

We’ve just been honest about the application and explained every detail. I provide everything that I can but I did my best effort to make them all alone. Kase friend ko denied twice hindi din sila ng meet.. nawalan siya ng pag-asa tapos nung nalaman nya na granted ako mas nawalan siya ng pag asa kase bakit refused siya twice. Sabi ko sa letter mo dapat ginandahan mo kase ako ng explain tlga na babalik ako at si bf din na babalik ako tapos sa mama ko letter of support to visit stating na uuwi ako at pupunta lng ako dun for tourism purpose only. Pick up ng 2GO Jan 5. Received ng Embassy Jan 8. Granted today Jan 22! I never expected din kase wala akong work and no travel history dahil first time to travel ako… sabi kase wala chance pag ganun pero I tried pa din dahil as long as complete ang documents sure granted kahit never pa ng meet. Grabe mga 200 pages ata yun napasa ko eh hehehe dahil sa Western Union receipts pa lang sobrang dami na tapos nka clip and organized lahat every category.. Thank you Lord! 25 ako sis… may work ako dati kaso ngresign ako request ni bf dahil sa hotel ako ngwork dati tapos laging graveyard hindi kami ngkakausap ng maayos kaya pinaresign nya ako.. Wala akong binigay na bank statement or anything dahil may sponsor naman so kay bf lahat.. sakin is yun supporting documents lng lie my passport, ids, birth certificate, etc. tapos money receipts at chat logs uin lng pinasa ko.. the rest kay bf na lahat.. Xempre english para formal.. basta gandahan lng ang letter dahil yung ang importante ma explain mo yung reason to visit and reason to return.. just convince the consul na may babalikan ka.. work isn’t a strong incentive to return dahil madami akong kakilala denied kahit may work and they provide complete documents sa work at leave nila.. family ties ang pinaka importante state sa letter nandito lahat ang family mo tapos maglagay ka nlng din ng occasions na need mo present bago mgexpire and tourist visa mo.. lagay ka ng family pictures na nandun ka.. i gagrant ka nila.. kabado nga ako dahil 1st time ko mgtravel if ever then no travel history.. thank God at granted! Yes wala akong prinovide na bank account statement kase ng closed account BDO ko sa Western Union kase ngpapadala si bf kaya tinamad mgdeposit kaya ayun na closed.. hehe! Provide ko lng documents like my passport, nbi, ids as my personal info. Supporting documents ko is yung Western Union receipts, call logs and chat namin from the very start… ngprovide ako every month yun kase tumatawag siya lagi so every tawag ni bf lagi kong screen shot lalo na pag skype cam to cam yung yung send ko as our picture together buti na capture ko minsan yung sa meron name nya provided sa screen minsan wala mukha nya lng.. yung conversations namin I wait for sometime bago ko screen shot para mag appear yung date and time.. Updated lahat yun bsta every month meron akong attached na 5 conversations and call logs pili lng din. So medyo marami yung nasubmit ko as proof of relationship from the very start. Separate ko and organized with labels… Skype, facebook, call logs sa cp,and skype cam to cam and yung western union receipts nka organized din madami un kase ngsesend si bf weekly so sinend ko lahat. Bsta neatly organized at madaling intindihin kase nga sobrang dami ang sinubmit ko.. Hindi ako ngpasa ng bank statement dahil may sponsor naman ako.. kaya okay lng.
Sa invitation letter naman simple lng.. gusto ko pumunta ng Australia para attend lng ng bday ng mama nya at ni bf at sight seeing na din at to experience the Australian way of living… ganun lng. Basta need mg match ang letter mo at ng sponsor mo. Ng state kami dun kelan at saan kami ngkakilala which is online… state nya bakit hindi siya nkapunta at nka visit dahil busy sa work.. then naging strong din ata yung application namin kase sa sobrang busy nya mama niya minsan ngpapadala ng pera kaya inexplain nya sa letter un as work constraints and commitments… bsta state nya din sa letter na aakuin nya lahat ng gastos kng nandun na ako kase may work siya at kaya nya ako supportahan, 1 page lng yung letter nya supposed to be 2 page un kase ung font nya kase sobrang liit hehe akin is 2 page humaba lng yun dahil dyan sa attached documents.. etc stated above yan yung 2nd page ng letter ko… and ng state din si bf na uuwi ako ng pinas dahil madaming occasions na babalikan at ako din ng provide ng mga occasions like bdays ng parents ko at other occasions aya ngsubmit din ako ng birth certificate and ids ng family members ko na totoo ung mga occasions tapos letter of support na din sa mama ko parang intent letter din pero nkalagay lng dun is babalik ako ng Pinas dahil dito lahat family ko tapos sign nya.. ako lng gumawa nun pinirmahan nya lng para mag match lng yung letters namin.. Di ko expect na granted visa ko at ang bilis lng 2 weeks kase never pa kami ngkita pero I just provide everything needed.. okay na sobra kesa kulang kase ung friend ko denied twice kahit may work pa siya at ngkita sila ng sponsor nya…ang reason is kulang ng evidence sa relationship nila.. never nghingi ng additional documents diretso denied. ako never kmi ng meet then first time to travel din so minsan walang chance dahil may reason din na refuse dahil hindi kpa nkpagtravel pero thank God granted ako… case to case basis lng siguro at depende sa CO na hahawak sa application. Ang naging sponsor ko is yung prospective father in law ko kasi mas meron syang capability na i finance yung visit ko but my visa was not grant. Ang sabi baka mag TNT daw ako ayon sa Australian Philippine embassy dito sa pinas. We are really disappointed.

Hello po. I lodge my application Jan 19 for 3 months tourist visa stay walked-in. My friend sponsored me and provided all documents they asking for except i didn’t include my birthcertificate. Do you think maaaprove nila visa ko? I have been i Australia twice and no bad records. I am worried now. And also my passport will expire Aug 30. Ask ko lang po kung tama po ba na VISA Sub class 1419 po ang VISA na appropriate sa amin if family kami mag-apply papauntang australia, may invitation letter rin po kmi from my cousin who lives in melbourne right now, pero di po nya sponsor ung itinerary namin, just the stay lang po ung sagot nya sa bahay nya po kmi mag-stay, citizen na po sya dun.
Nag-apply po kasi kami last Feb. 2014, unfortunatelt di po kami na-approved, parang sa tingin ko po kasi di masyadong na-review nung assigned consul yung application namin. Nag-send nga po ako ng complaint letter sa kanila pero wala ring nangyari need ko daw ulit mag apply. sabi nya po ksi dun unemployed daw po ako samantalang nagpasa ako ng employment certificate with compensation at nagsasabi po na 20 years na ko dun sa company na pinagtatrabahuhan ko. Sabi din nya di pa raw kami nakap travel outside philippines, eh 4x na po kami nag-apply na family.
Eh ngayon po kasi magta-try po ulit kming mag-apply ng visa, fa,ily ppo ulit kmain aalis.

i applied online and opted to choose 12 months stay thinking it will be 12 month visa validity. i was instructed to have a health exam. i lodged an online form to correct the info to 3 months stay since i will on be there for 5 days, do you my visa will be denied since i have no plans to have a medical exam. do the case officer call or email for clarification? thank you,

Hello Dane. Sana nag update or kumuha ka ng passport ng maaga (if possible). Sa Dept of Immigration and Border Protection nakasulat na maximum of one month yung application,yung iba nga more than one month. In my case,I applied online, got my visa grant 1 month and 3 days.yung iba mga after 2 weeks na kuha nila,depende yun sa immigration or sa case nila lalo na pag well travelled and yung requirements at andun lahat. Sana ma grant ka before 20th.I suggest not to book a flight yet.

Hi jonesy. So I guess u applied via VFS, yeah? Sana next time apply ka online,nakakainis yung tga VFS,marami na rekalmo dyan. When did u apply? Yung processing talaga nag tatake one month or more or kung well travelled or swerte ka,it will only take 2-3 weeks.

I’m getting frustrated… I get no answer from the embassy. Our travel was supposed to be on the 7th and was moved on the 18th. Sent them an email with the letter from the company that we’re visiting, but no answer at all! It says on their website to call the embassy for emergency visa, etc. I called, but they told me to call VFS. When I contacted VFS, they told me to call the mebassy directly. This has been going on for almost 2 weeks now. They are so unhelpful. 😦

They say malaki yung factor but nung nag apply ako 62K lang pera ko sa bank.hehehe. sa information planet ko nakita yun na dapat meron ka at least $1K if you’ll stay sa aus for a month . I suggest maglagay ka ng cover letter with your planned itinerary para malaman nila din kung ilang weeks ka and kung anu yung mga gagawin mo.Godbless. wish u all the best

the case officer ring me yesterday and me this question what is my reason why i apply for a 12 months visa and i said that we are doing some sightseeing that was the plan and we been through various of places there. and she said to me that she will refuse my visa even i am a genuine tourist but still she refused it but why she didnt send me a letter of refusal and when i checked my visa status today said still on processed how come still on prossessed if she already said its refuse is there ‘s a possibility that the result will change .

Ron, no one can help you just wait for their email notification unless you give them incorrect email. You can call them to verify, only the immigration officer can answer your questions. panicking doesn’t help, LOL Goodluck.

Hi, yun sa akin naman isponsor ako dapat ni ate, permanent resident na sya dun pero mahigit isang taon pa lang, nabasa ko kasi 2 years dapat pero sabi ni ate pwede na kasi PR na nga sya. Nalilito ako. May idea ka ba? If hindi naman sponsored at apply na lang ako tourist stream visa, magkano kaya show money? Around 50k lang kasi pera ko. Pero if ever si ate naman gagastos lahat, plane tickets at sa kanya din ako titira in less than 3 months.

Hi. This is my first time to have an out of the country trip. This very moment I’m filling in Form 1419. Reading your comments, kinakabahan na ko. I have consulted an Australian Visa Assistance Agency and was advised na OK na ang around 40k na bank deposit para sa Financial Capacity. I’m self employed pero kakaregister lang ng variety store ko. Ndi pinayagan magpa register sa City Hall kasi maliit lang daw naman ung capital and according to them, ndi na kailangan so sa Barangay lang siya registered. As much as possible, ayaw ko na Sana magpa assist sa agency so I am posting my issue here. The docs that I can submit are:
– notarized photo copy of my passport
– bank statement / bank cert
– Barangay registration of my biz
– NSO issued birth cert
Do you think I have a chance to be granted a visa? If the answer is no, what should I do to have a visa? I have friends on Facebook from NSW but we haven’t met in person yet that’s why I can’t put them in my application. Please help. Gusto ko lang talaga mag travel sa Perth kahit four (4) days lang. 40k for how many days? Try to consider din yun cost of living dun then Perth pa is a city. I searched for cheap hostels around Php3000 / night na yun cheapest na nakita so far. Try to include also tax documents mo, then other national docs / IDs like birth certificate, marriage contract, etc. If have credit card din submit mo din yun. Basta all docs na magpapakita na strong ties mo dito sa Pinas.

To tell you honestly its hard if you are a first time traveler unless you have a complete documents to submit and proof you will come back to Philippines. I submit online application and received a grant notice within a week of my application i attached, NSO birth certificate, Scan copy of current passport, Bank statements, Credit card statements, my old passport and other countries visas, ITR, my approve leave,cover letter, Payslip and scan company ID. i lodged my visa application last October 05, 2015 and until now wala pa din decision, nakaka stress maghintay. I got denied the first time kahit nag provide ako COE, and lagi naman ako nag travel. Hopefully this time ma approve na. 🙂

Yes, wag ka dumaan sa agency. Dagdag bayad ka alng tas hindi naman sila mag dedesisyon ng visa mo.
Online application is the easiest and fastest.
1.Go to Aus immigration website or DIBP.
2. Create an immi account.
3.Once created, fill out the form.
4. Once filled out, you need to pay first $130 AUD. Not sure if thats still the amount to pay.
5. You’ll get notification once payment is received. By that time you can already upload all the docs needed to support your application.
6. Waiting time is the hardest part. Lol
Pray to God. Other applicants got their visa after a week or two of submitting their applications. Some got theirs almost two months which is rare. I got mine after 1 month and 3 days usually it will take a month and few days.

hi po. ask ko lang kung ano unh VISA na applicable sa amin if mag-apply kmi family then may invitation kami from my cousin (who lives is melbourne right now, citizen n apo sya dun). Nag-apply kc kmi last year but unfortunately di kmi na-approve, Parang di kasi ni-revoew nung Consul ung application namin. Sabi nya ksi dun sa letter wala daw ako work then we never been daw po in other country samantalang 4 times na kmi nag-abroad.

Hi Girl…u can apply for 3 months tourist visa…its up to the consul to give you multiple entry visa later on upon reviewing your application. its better to do it online. It is easier & faster as long as you have all the required documents uploaded.

3.from there you can apply na
4. Read all the steps, papers needed and stuff before you apply.
Well you can fill out the application form but I suggest not to submit it yet without all docs. Visa fee is $130 so that’s 32 or 33 pesos.

Hi Donna. I applied online and i waited for a month and 3 days for the result. Yes the status will never change, it will show “application received” once you’re done attaching your files. It will change to “finalise ” once the result is given. In your case,it’s already six weeks, I suggest to send them a follow up form.log in to your immi account and click the application/reference number then on the right hand side you can see forms,look for the follow up form.I bet you will get your result before 8 of October. I’ll pray for an approved visa.God bless!

Ei guys… Kaka lodge ko pa lng ng applications ko nung aug 11, 2015 for au tv. Sa aug 26 na flight ko at confirmed na lahat ng tickets ko hotel & even my flight mnl-syd-bne-mel-syd-mnl. My instance ba na di agad nila na nabibigay decision nila approved man or refusals bago lumipad ang clients? Wat i mean is bka aftr aug 26 pa nila mabigay ung decision. So pano ako nyan. Rebook ang peg ko witch too expensive plus. Super stress na ako. Sabi sakin 7workings days lng ok na. Agency kasi ako dumaan mag process. Pa 8days ko na today then bukas holiday pa. Super early pa nmn ng flight ko on aug 26 at 12:05am. So meaning 25 aug asa airport na ako. Di ko nmn ma folow up kasi wla ibinibigay sakin ang agency na reference number or kung ano man. Mag wait lng daw ng email kasi alam nmn daw nila kaylan ako aalis. What dpat gawin? 1st time to apply au visa. Kaloka ang stress. Pati ang bulsa ko. Butas na sa gastos. Hehehhe. Cheer me up guys;)

You have to wait talaga. And the embassy didnt allow to book ticket directly. Pero who knows maybe next week you’ll get your Visa na. How long you’ll stay there?

Hi boitraveller, just relax muna, I know u can’t help yourself but to feel worried about it. Since agency naman pala yung nag process then wait ka na lng muna,pray and stay positive. Sa ibang cases kasi may mga nag apply ng visa then after a week or so approved na, yung napansin ko sila yung may mga nka pag travel na sa ibang bansa din kumbaga marami ng tatak yung passport.yung isang blog na nabasa ko, most cases are nakuha nila yung visa nila after a month or so. Not trying to let u feel down or something. I wish na nakuha mo sayo before your flight.
Advise ko lang, pag mag travel ka ulit with visa requirement, better not to book a ticket yet talaga unless sure na approve yung application.

Okay ritza, ask mins ako, kelan na lodge yung application mo? May correspondence ka ba,bf mo or name mo lang talaga yun. Kasi in my case, I was the one who filled out the application online but one of the questions dun is kung maglalagay ba ako ng correspondence, ibig sabihin, may authorised person ba ako in behalf of my application. Nilagay ko name ng bf ko and his email. So yung result ng visa ko they sent it to my bf’s email add.pwd din sya magtanong,mag email for follow up,pwd din ikaw.sa case ko kasi, di ako ng follow up,just waited for the result kasi usually it takes a month or so bago ka nila inform e. I applied may 23 got the result June 26 na.wait ka lang siguro.give it a month and a week if wla pa rin,contact them na.punta ka ng DIBP website tas log in ka sa immi account mo andun yung enquiry form.hope that helps ritza.

Sa part ko all my valid ID’s ,docs like registration of vehicle if meron na under sa name ko..bank cert,cert of employment kahit hindi kana nag work..if may sponsor ka namn lahat ng valid docs nya ..bills sa phone cars etc..

Nung kumuha kc ako ng bank cert for my japan visa.. Balance lang ng account ko nakalagay. Pero merong option na i include yung adb. For china kc they require na reflected sa bank cert ung abd for the past 6 months. 🙂

Hi po. This blog is very useful po. Question lang, nag apply ksi ako last October pero na deny ako for some reasons na hndi dw enough yung proof ko na babalik po ako dto sa Philippines. Nkpag provide ako ng mga reqs pwera sa mga related sa work, ksi po im not working pa dhil kakagrad ko lang. you can reapply after 6 months. provide sponsorship from your fiance instead (letter to the embassy, passport bio page, financial documents, work papers, apartment details, etc and there is a form need nya i fill up. hope it helps 😉

Hi im applying my tourist visa July 23, 2015, surprisingly i recieved email july 27 that that they grant me my visa..my Aussie fiance was very happy for me and he booked me a ticket after he heard that news..August 11 will be there at Darwin..
I think i submit all requirements completely and neatly, i include birtcertificate of my two kids ages 5and 12..i declare too that iam married here but long time separate on my ex husband, so i include affidavit of separation.

Hi everyone..I really need your advice. I am currently working in the middle east and applied for a tourist visa here via AVAC in Dubai and got denied on 26 – Oct after 3 weeks of waiting. I dont have any documents here with me. They said that i dont meet their requirements as a tourist.I was being invited by a friend in Aussie ( Astralian guy) and I submitted his invitation letter, financial statement and Bio page of his passport and mine was my bio page passport,a letter from my employer, payslip and credit card statements. I am going home to Philippines on Nov for my Annual leave for 2 months and my friend is insisting me to reapply there so i can visit in Aussie even just for 2 weeks before i go back to middle east.But im really worried for another refusal. What are the documents required of an OFW to apply a tourist visa? Can i just present an employment certificate and my approved leave ? Do u think i can have a chance to be granted? I am thinking to use the travel agency to lodged another application..i can provide the bank statement and the ownership certificate of my unit in Philippines. Thank you po.. God Bless!

hey.. I applied for tourist visa (12months) at VFS Makati last june 16, 2015 together w/ my son (5years old), and unfortunately last july 13, 2015 got the result and it was refused by the embassy. My sister-in law and brother- in law was our sponsor and they are both citizen. The reason of our refusal was they are not satisfied with my evidence and assurance to return after our period of stay. But now, I am planning to re apply but this time just only me, coz they’re badly needed to have me with them as I could give them assistance to take care of their first baby.. Could u help me and give some advice to increase my chance of having a visa? thank u so much..

Hi, I will be applying for an Australian TV at the end of this month. I have all the requirements stated in 1419 Requirement Checklist. I will be applying online, I think it’s easier than personal application. I will be there for 2 weeks. I have been to South Korea and Singapore. I understand that there’s no specific amount/savings in your bank mentioned by Aus Immigration. My question is, how much do you think the right/acceptable or enough amount should I have in my bank? I also have a friend there who will give me an invitation letter and I will be staying with her.

hI glossy. my case is a matter of wrong decision/findings. as per the notice of denial i received then, it stated there that i have never been out of the country. i emailed them saying the the findings were not true as i have sent them my passport. however, they can not reverse the decision as the case has been closed. my remedy then was to apply anew. i did not. i hope it wont happen to you. cheers.

Thanks for this experience with the Australian Immigration for visa, my partner is pinoy and she tried twice for a six month tourist visa to come travel with me (Aussie guy) but was denied based on the fact there was not enough reason for her to return to Philippines. Despite that if she overstayed it would effect future applications… I had provided evidence to be able to support her and I think those that overstay or work without the correct permissions ruin it for everyone else 😦

I always wanted to be in Australia and to practice my profession, i need RPL and some education. Get Qualified explained everything so clearly that i do not need to ask more questions. Their fees are very reasonable. I look forward to work with them in the future for my RPL. I hope to see them in Australia very soon.

i think orig bank cert will do even without itr. however, just to be sure, isubmit mo na rin lahat. hindi bale nang sobra ang requirements kesa kulang at baka yun pa maging dahilan ng denial ng visa. good luck 😉

any itr in your name is the requirement regardless whether u are self employed or an employee. as far as i know, anyone who receives less than 9500/month as salary is exempted from paying income tax. also, how can you support your travel to australia with 5k a month? its kinda expensive there 😉

hi again. yes, u have to apply in bangkok because bangkok is your current residence. visa approval is discretion of the case officer based on your personal circumstances. normally, you’ll get a visa if you comply with all their requirements. btw, i was denied the first time i applied. i already had 10 year multiple US visa, been to at least 15 countries and almost 600k php in my bank. i was denied. case to case basis. best of luck 😉
